Here are some of the outstanding <strong>sights and attractions in Rottweil: <\/strong> <strong>Historic old town: <\/strong>the historic town center of Rottweil is a real gem and invites you to stroll through picturesque alleyways with magnificent town houses and historic buildings. The town center is steeped in history and offers a charming atmosphere. <strong>Black Gate: <\/strong>The only remaining gate of the former town fortifications is one of Rottweil&#8217;s oldest architectural monuments. The Staufer humpback ashlars of the foundation walls, which are over 3 meters thick, clearly show how the town was originally built. <strong>Heilig-Kreuz-M\u00fcnster: <\/strong>The impressive Heilig-Kreuz-M\u00fcnster is one of the most important churches in Rottweil and an impressive example of Gothic architecture. <strong>Events: <\/strong>Rottweil is known for its lively cultural and event scene.
